The role of an Owner's Representative has developed over the years as the complexities of contractual obligations have led Owners to seek advice during design and construction. In the last few decades this role has been filled with the development of the CM or PM role, as well as by design professionals. Recently DBIA formed a task force to clarify the role of the Owner Representative in the Design-Build Done Righ model, including expectations and best practices. In this session you'll hear from members of the DBIA National Board representing multiple sectors including Federal , Transportation and Water/Wastewater. They will provide their insights on the issue, as well as seek input from attendees. All information obtained in this session will be considered in the development of this important resource.
