Our intent is to compare and contrast the use of the Design-Build delivery process on two higher education projects – Augsburg University's Hagfors Center (classroom, lab, and office building) and Carleton College's Music and Performance Commons ( performing arts building). For both projects, the Owner selected the Design-Build delivery process based on relationships previously developed with McGough. We will discuss how the benefits of Design-Build were maximized during the delivery of each of these projects.
