Description
Design-Build project delivery requires a culture of team alignment, open communication and mutual respect between the project owner, the architect/engineer and the contractor (and key trade partners). The result is maximized value, minimized waste and improved outcomes, all of which are also goals of Lean Construction. Design-Build provides an optimal environment for successful incorporation of Lean techniques. Used individually, lean tools/techniques or Design-Build Done Right™ enhance the chances of overall project and team success. Used together, however, opportunities for success, innovation and creativity are exponentially greater.
Learning Objectives:

- Learn about Lean techniques that can enhance your ability to obtain earlier price certainty and accuracy of true project costs
- Discuss processes that lead to increased productivity resulting in time savings and earlier project completion
