The four presenters and the moderator did a very good job in identifying the risks associated with a design-build project, especially related to the transportation bridge projects. The methods of indicating the type of risks and method of analyzing these risks were clear and helped one understand how to mitigate and/or minimize these various risks within the design-build contract. The risk allocation matrix and risk register are handy tools to utilize and show where to focus risk mitigation measures.
