Description

This session will discuss the role LEAN Construction plays in maximizing the benefits of Progressive Design Build. Integrated delivery is all about the sharing of collaborative thoughts and ideas. LEAN construction principles focuses optimizing and maximizing the outcomes of any project delivery, but especially design build. LEAN construction focuses on reducing waste and optimizing results through collaborative tools and processes that expand the value of integrated contract delivery systems such as Progressive Design Build.

• Integrate LEAN construction into the Progressive Design Build delivery system
• Apply cost modeling forecast strategies to managing target budgets
• Create an integrated conformed building model through the life of the project
• Produce integrated schedules for the owner and builder that are collectively created and manged
