The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers successfully employed design-build to address a most pressing water need at their pre-eminent national training facility in Fort Irwin, California. Located in the High Mohave Desert, maximizing recovery of their limited resource was a key priority. This presentation will highlight the approaches and successes with an emphasis on the owner's perspective.
